Heron Island Resort has many fantastic activities on offer.
Being surrounded by the World Heritage-Listed Marine National Park, The Great Barrier Reef, snorkelling and scuba diving are the main attractions and activities for visitors of Heron Island. In fact, you can even get complimentary scuba diving lessons in the swimming pool!
You can go for a cruise on Heron Island Resort's semisubmersible boat and have a close encounter with the marine life, without needing to change into your swimmmers.
For total relaxation after a solid day of marine adventure, we recommend a trip to Heron Island Resort's own day spa. Indulge your senses with a facial, body treatment or massage.
Heron Island is an ancient habitat for Green and Loggerhead Turtles. Throughout the year, turtles make their way from around the world to lay their eggs in the white Heron Island sand. You may even be lucky enough to see hatchlings making their way to the ocean.
